HomeCare FAQs
Frequently Asked Questions
How much does in-home care cost in North Little Rock?
It depends on the level of care and how it’s paid for. Many North Little Rock families qualify for Medicaid or VA benefits and pay little or nothing out of pocket. Long-term care insurance and private pay through our Caring Choices program are also options. Call (501) 372-5300 and we’ll walk through it with you, no obligation.
Does Medicaid cover in-home care in Arkansas?
Yes. Arkansas Medicaid covers in-home care for eligible seniors, and CareLink accepts it. We can help you check eligibility and get started.
Is home care the same as home health?
No. Home care is non-medical support: bathing, meals, housekeeping, companionship, and daily routines. Home health is skilled nursing or therapy ordered by a doctor. CareLink HomeCare provides non-medical care, and we’ll connect you with the right resources if your loved one needs both.
My parent lives in an assisted-living community. Can they still receive services?
Yes. CareLink provides services in assisted-living communities as well as private homes.
I’m caring for a parent myself and I’m exhausted. Can you help?
That’s exactly what our respite care is for. A care companion steps in so you can rest, run errands, or simply take a breath, and our Family Caregiver Support program offers help beyond HomeCare.
