When you call us, you’re not talking to a national call center. You’re talking to a Little Rock organization whose only job is serving Central Arkansas seniors.

HomeCare FAQs
Frequently Asked Questions
How much does in-home care cost in Little Rock?
Cost depends on the level of care and your payment source. Many Little Rock families pay little or nothing out of pocket through Medicaid or VA benefits. Others use long-term care insurance or private pay through our Caring Choices program. Call (501) 372-5300 and we’ll walk you through your options, no obligation.
Does Medicaid pay for in-home care in Arkansas?
Yes. Arkansas Medicaid covers in-home care for eligible seniors, and CareLink accepts it. We can help you determine eligibility and get started.
What’s the difference between home care and home health?
Home care is non-medical support: help with daily activities like bathing, meals, housekeeping, and companionship. Home health is skilled nursing or therapy ordered by a doctor. CareLink HomeCare provides non-medical home care, and we can point you to the right resources if your loved one needs both.
How quickly can care start?
After your call, a specialist assesses your needs and builds a customized care plan. Timelines vary by payment source, but we move as fast as eligibility allows.
Can family caregivers get support too?
Yes. Our respite care gives Little Rock family caregivers a break, and our Family Caregiver Support program offers resources beyond HomeCare.
