For many people in our older homebound community, they find themselves in between two stages of life: not able to do everything on their own, but still able to live independently.
Instead of moving to an assisted living facility prematurely, CareLink provides homebound older people with the help they need to manage daily tasks. With our trained volunteers and staff caregivers, CareLink’s homecare services improve the lives of our homebound friends, offering assistance and companionship each day.
What Are CareLink's HomeCare Services?
Whatever home assistance an older homebound person may need, our HomeCare services likely cover it! We discuss the individual needs of each HomeCare recipient and create a plan and schedule to help.
Some of the HomeCare services we provide are:
- Planning, preparing, and serving meals
- Mobility, including transfers to and from wheelchair or other device
- Bathing, showering, and using the restroom
- Grooming, including hair drying and styling, shaving, brushing teeth, and more
- Housekeeping, including laundry, sweeping, taking out trash, dusting, vaccuming, doing dishes, etc.
