North Little Rock, AR, 01/24/2025 — CareLink, a trusted nonprofit dedicated to providing critical services to older Arkansans and their families, is thrilled to announce the addition of six exceptional individuals to its Board of Directors for 2025. Each brings a wealth of expertise and a shared commitment to enhancing the lives of seniors in our community.
CareLink’s Six New Distinguished Leaders
Curtis Carter – Chief Financial Officer, Arkansas Teacher Retirement System | A familiar face at CareLink, Curtis Carter rejoins the board with decades of financial expertise. With a career spanning over 30 years, including roles as an Auditor for the Arkansas Division of Legislative Audit, Carter’s leadership will play a pivotal role in driving fiscal responsibility and sustainability. His deep understanding of complex financial systems is invaluable as CareLink continues to expand its services.
Marion King – Principal Sales Program Execution, AT&T | New to the board, Marion King brings extensive experience in telecommunications, sales, and leadership. Known for his ability to drive results and foster growth, King also serves on the Arkansas Hunger Relief Alliance and the Central Arkansas Executive Association boards. His passion for community service and strategic planning makes him a perfect fit for CareLink’s mission to empower older adults.
RJ Martino – Founder, iProv, Martino Law Firm, Scale Technology, Enterprise Accounting Partners, and U.S. Rail & Logistics | Returning to the board, RJ Martino is a serial entrepreneur and business leader who brings a wealth of innovative thinking to the table. As the founder of multiple successful companies and a strategic partner in various ventures, Martino’s ability to envision growth and implement transformative ideas will be instrumental in advancing CareLink’s objectives.
Anne Pace – Co-Owner and Pharmacist in Charge, Kavanaugh Pharmacy | Anne Pace joins the board with a strong background in healthcare and a passion for improving community well-being. As the co-owner of Kavanaugh Pharmacy, she is deeply attuned to the needs of older adults, particularly in managing their health and medications. Her hands-on experience and commitment to personalized care align seamlessly with CareLink’s vision.
Robert “Bo” Ryall – President and CEO, Arkansas Hospital Association | Bo Ryall’s extensive experience in healthcare leadership, including his advocacy for hospitals across Arkansas, positions him as a critical voice on the board. With a master’s degree in public administration and a history of nonprofit involvement, Ryall brings a strategic perspective and a heart for service that will enhance CareLink’s mission to support aging Arkansans.
Kendall Thornton – Stakeholder Engagement, Public Affairs, Entergy Arkansas | Kendall Thornton rounds out the new additions with her marketing expertise and passion for engaging the community. With a career rooted in both nonprofit and corporate communications as well as public affairs, Thornton has consistently demonstrated a talent for raising awareness and inspiring meaningful action. Her creativity and storytelling skills will amplify CareLink’s efforts to connect with seniors and their families.
