 ENTRY-LEVEL QUALIFICATIONS

  • 4-year college degree or 4 years of experience with staffing
  • 2 years’ general office experience
  • Word processing and database skills
  • Spreadsheet/excel skills
  • Typing 50 wpm

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Leads scheduling on staffing open hours during critically high weeks
  • After authorization from supervisor, puts caregivers on absence.
  • Responsible for training new staffing assistants
  • Receives requests for staffing from nurse Receives requests for staffing from nurse
  • Sets up new client in database to include preferences and schedule
  • Meets with new hires and makes placement; prints copy of itinerary for HCA
  • Reviews with HCA care plan tasks to be performed
  • Completes PAF and forwards job description and departmental orientation to appropriate nurse
  • Receives calls from HCA that can’t report as scheduled; checks opening each day and contacts possible replacements
  • Refers HCA’s request for change in client to nurse. If change is approved, re-schedule based on openings
  • Documents every assignment declined by HCA
  • Documents calls from clients and attendants and forwards to appropriate person as applicable
  • Creating daily pivot table report showing open hours by case manager, client type and high to low hours
  • Creates caregivers who have not worked > 30 days report
  • Monitors caregivers use of telephony app
  • Primary contact for tablet troubleshooting issues
  • Responsible for making sure team is doing telephony monitoring
  • Ensures data is uniform, current and complete
  • Extends schedules on regular basis
  • Makes approved changes to tables and preferences
  • Runs various reports
  • Maintains organized files and records
  • Makes copies and distributes
  • Maintains applications according to agency policy
  • Enters interview data in database
