Minimum Qualifications
- Associate’s degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school
- 6 months to one-year related experience/training
- Current and valid Arkansas driver’s license with “P” endorsement
- Aging services experience preferred

- Coordinates with the CareLink Development Department and participates in fundraising activities sponsored by CareLink.
- Secures approval from the CareLink Development Department for all fundraising activities sponsored by CareLink
- Ensures fundraising activities in which CareLink staff participate in, comply with all local, state, and federal laws, rules, and regulations.
- Is the Liaison for local community councils or associations fundraising activities that benefit senior services programs.
- Keeps CareLink supervision and management fully informed of CareLink sponsored and local group fundraising activities.
- Attend required staff meetings, training, and conferences.
- Practices a supervisory style that contributes to a positive and productive work climate for all employees and volunteers
- Works within policies and procedures for personnel actions, e.g., performance evaluations, counseling, leave, approval, selection, orientation, etc.
- Lead and train staff to work with seniors
- Regularly meets with staff individually and as a group to provide feedback, problem-solve, and communicate information.
- Regularly utilizes positive reinforcement to develop and motivate employees.

- Coordinates senior activity programs with activities of other community services and centers within the county
- Coordinates activities between center functions to maximize efficiencies and optimize services provided

- Trains staff in specific job tasks and assists as needed

- Prepare and submit the center’s payroll.
- Prepares reports concerning activities of programs and areas of responsibility, including reports to management on goals, objectives, and progress; maintains electronic records of same
- Sets up and maintains accurate records and files
- Establishes written procedures regarding duties, record keeping and center activities
- Prepares reports concerning activities of the program
- Actively participates in countywide menu planning
- Ensures meal production complies with approved menus, laws, regulations, policies and licensure requirements.
- Ensures kitchen equipment requiring repair, service or replacement is remedied in a timely, quality fashion
- Coordinates with kitchen staff to ensure high-quality and timely meal production
- Maintains an active recruiting strategy to attract qualified volunteer candidates
- Overseas recruitment and training of center volunteers
- Coordinates with agency staff to publicize volunteer opportunities
- Develops community contacts and partnerships for recruiting volunteers
- Utilizes various recruitment strategies as appropriate to the target population
- Ensures Background Checks have been completed prior to volunteer assignment
- Provides volunteer orientation and training of task responsibilities prior to assignment
- Ensures an adequate active volume of volunteers to fulfill the daily mission of the center
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, funding requirements, assurances, policies and procedures.
- Approves performance standards, objectives and methods for monitoring
- Implement applicable policies, procedures, and goals

- Leads staff in the identification of program objectives

- Oversees food purchases; monitors food costs and inventory.
- Monitor contract budget status monthly and adjust service deliveries accordingly.
- Approves purchases and expenditures of the center.
- Assists in preparation of center’s budget as requested.
- Monitors income and expenses monthly, adjusts operations as needed to stay within approved budget
- Initiates and tracks purchase requisitions
- Collects data for budget development
- Prepares regular summary reports of program utilization, e.g., units of service
- Understands funding sources and how to meet funding restrictions and maximize funding for service delivery
Salary Range: $36,461-$45,487
