Receptionist HC/HR Riverfront

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

 

  • High school education or equivalent
  • 1 year secretarial experience
  • Word processing
  • 50 wpm typing

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES

 

  • Knowledge of business English, spelling, and punctuation
  • Knowledge of telephone etiquette
  • Ability to operate standard office equipment
  • Ability to follow oral and written instructions
  • Ability to organize information and materials
  • Ability to enter data in spreadsheet or database
  • Ability to speak clearly and write legibly

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • Receives and handles incoming calls
  • Forwards calls to proper person or takes messages to include name and number of caller
  • Directs calls to voice mail as appropriate
  • Answers general inquiries about programs/services
  • Greets and directs visitors 
  • Maintains neat appearance of waiting area and break room 
  •  Organizes and maintains first floor supply room 
  • Encourages Caregiver applicants to complete applications on-site
  • Works with Pulaski recruiter to set-up interviews on a timely basis
  • Tracks application volume, demographic information, and statistical information as assigned
  • Mails applications to staff position candidates, prepares received applications for review, prepare and mails non-select letters
  • Administers Caregivers required annual in-service program (In-The-Know)
  • Publishes agency newsletter
  • Assists other departmental staff as needed

  • Maintains regular attendance
