Home Care Informatics Manager

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  •  Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in health care administration, health care information systems or related field with Master’s preferred;
  •  Minimum 3 year’s management experience with supervision preferred;
  •  Experience with in-home health related services preferred.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES

  •  Proven experience with innovative thinking;
  •  Proven experience with Project Management;
  •  Knowledge of statutory requirements related to program/services;
  •  Knowledge of principles of fiscal management;
  •  Knowledge of principles of personnel management;
  •  Knowledge of principles of quality management;
  •  Knowledge of principles of long-range planning;
  •  Ability to organize and coordinate the work of others;
  •  Ability to collect and compile data;
  •  Ability to problem solve;
  •  Possess intermediate to advanced level of computer skills, to include spreadsheets, MS Office products and database management.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  •  Management of Home Care scheduling department;
  •  System administration and reporting responsibilities in Generations software;
  •  Project administration of home care systems;
  •  Implements quality improvements in home care systems;
  •  Organizes and implements staff training as required for projects.

  •  Maintains regular attendance;
  •  Adheres to scheduled work hours;
  •  Excellent customer service skills are essential;
  •  Must have excellent computer skills;
